Thanks for visiting my photoblog. I'm a Software Engineer by profession and Photography is my hobby. I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan and currently live in Mississauga, Canada.
I used to shoot mostly in JPEG format, but after learning to process RAW, now I shoot RAW as it provides more options and control for post-processing. All of my images are processed in Adobe Photoshop and Nikon ViewNX.

This digital SLR camera boasts excellent image quality and captures very accurate color and shadow/highlight details. I can get a clean image upto ISO-1600 handheld. ISO 3200 images are also very usable. Among other things I like about this camera is the new menu system and 3" LCD to review images. This camera also has the 11 point focus system borrowed from Nikon D90 which is very accurate in most situations with enough light. Face detection technology detects upto 35 faces, which is very helpful for group portraits.
Camera also features capability to shoot upto 1080p 24fps HD video. It is equipped with CEC bus that enables remote control playback of images and movies recorded by the camera when the camera is connected to a HDTV via built-in HDMI port.

This lens was announced in September 2008. The optical quality of lens is very good and the built-in Vibration Reduction (VR) system helps alot in low light conditions.
